Winsor & Newton Artisan Water Mixable Oil Mediums, Solvents and Varnishes are designed to be used with Artisan Water Mixable Oil Colour. This is because these products can all be mixed with water and used without the need for any hazardous solvents.

Varnishes ensure an even finish after the painting is fully dried (6-12 months). Varnishes can protect from UV damages, dust, and grease, balanced out the different sheen levels of the finish and can be removed for the purpose of re-varnishing.

This UV resistant varnish provides protection for paintings achieved with Artisan Colour and is removable with Artisan Varnish Remover. Non-yellowing. These varnishes are specially formulated for use with Artisan Water Mixable Oils. They dry quickly, will not bloom, or crack, and clean up easily with soap and water. Artisan Water Mixable Varnishes are packaged in plastic bottles to eliminate the risk of breakage.

Use only as a final varnish. Shake well before use. Available in 3 finishes – Gloss, Satin, and Matt
