Winsor & Newton Acrylics Mediums allows artist to fully explore the versatility of acrylics helping to improve durability, extending and enhancing colour and improving flow and brush ability. With the help of mediums W&N Acrylics may be used in a fluid, gestural manner (much like watercolour) and in heavier applications (as with oils) and allow acrylics to be shaped and carved, used for printmaking or for virtually any other technique.

Heavy Carvable Modelling Paste – It is do it all version that is tough and fully “carvable”. It remains flexible on variety of surfaces. May be overpainted. Colour may be added directly to modelling paste, but colour will become lighter and more chalky and the resulting paste will have reduced body.

Flexible Modelling Paste – It is a fine texture paste with, yet thick, sculptural consistency. It’s a lighter-weight modelling paste for use on canvas to minimize sagging. Depth can be built up in layers by allowing it to dry. Suitable for building multiple layers with matt finish.
