ArtGraf Viarco Tailor Shape chalk is an exciting and versatile tool for drawing and painting. ArtGraf Tailor shape chalk is a block of pressed pigments and binders has a shape inspired by traditional chalk used by the tailor to mark the fabric. It is extremely soft, rich and water-soluble provides artists with a wide range of shades depending on the amount of water used from light transparent tones to deep rich opaque colours.
It comes in the handy shape of an old-fashioned tailor’s chalk. The tapered edges and rounded corners can be used for line work and details. The broadside can be used to create large bold strokes.
Tailor Shape Chalk, when diluted with water, acts similarly to ink or can be used dry as a drawing medium. These create wonderful patterns and effects, especially when combined wet and dry. They can be used directly or applied with a wet brush like traditional watercolour paint.
Each block of tailor shape chalk measure 1.75” x 2” (4.45cm x 5.08cm) ideal for travel and studio use.
