Pentel Sharp Kerry is premium automatic pencil handcrafted with watchmaker's tools for precision, beauty, and accuracy. It features removeable cap provides proper balance while writing and protects writing point when pencil is not in use.
The design of the pencil has not changed since the 70s. The balanced case is made of metal and covered with a layer of plastic and varnish. Collet and clip are completely made of metal. In the center of the case there is a patterned ring and engraving: "KERRY since 1971", which marks the date of the first model of this pencil. The technical advances of that era brought innovative materials such as durable plastics and polypropylene to the fore, which were easy to shape, paint and create objects of the most unusual configurations.
Externally it looks very similar to luxurious fountain pen. The cap snaps onto the back of the pen, and a refillable eraser is hidden under the button at the top of the cap. The lead is extended by clicking the button at the end of the barrel when the cap is unposted or the button on the top of the cap when it is posted.
The Sharp Kerry pencils come pre-loaded with Pentel Super Hi-Polymer HB leads and Z2-1N refill eraser which never need sharpening, are super strong and produce clear dark lines.
Available in 0.5 MM – Fine Lines & 0.7 MM – Medium Lines lead sizes.
