Pebeo’s Studio Acrylics Modeling Paste is an opaque, white, heavy textured, matte finish, ready to use paste for creating reliefs and impasto, especially for creating dimensions.
In addition to the spectacular colour selection for both professionals and amateurs, Pébéo offers a wide range of auxiliaries to achieve diverse techniques, applications and special effects. Used alone or mixed with the Studio Acrylic Colours, these auxiliaries were specially designed to inspire your creativity at every painting level. Pebeo Modelling Pastes are part of the Pebeo Studio Acrylics Auxiliaries range. The “Modeling Paste” is used to create structure and thick textures. Build up solid forms and high reliefs with Pebeo Modeling Pastes, which may be tinted with acrylics or overpainted after hardening. High Density Modelling Paste lends a thicker and more textured paste than Studio Modelling Paste. Pebeo’s Studio Acrylics range pastes are less responsive than the Pebeo Artist Acrylics range pastes.
Pebeo Modeling Paste is available in jars of 500 ml and 1L and tube of 250 ml.
Pebeo Modeling Paste can be applied using a painting knife. It may be mixed with colours when moist that will slightly deteriorate it. But it is not recommended to be mixed with a thinner. Keep it away from dust and allow it to dry for 1-3 hours depending on the thickness of application. It retains the imprint of the tool and can be sculpted, painted and sanded down once dry. After drying, it perfectly retains its volume and does not crack. Clean the tools with water before the paste dries onto it.
