Pebeo Round Oil Pastel Set are especially designed for professional artist from absolute best pigments and are triple milled at maximum concentration to bring out the finest colour, providing the rich, velvety bloom valued by pastellists. Oil pastels have excellent light durability and can be used on a variety of surfaces including plain and colored paper, card and directly onto canvas. Use these oil pastels dry for drawing or diluted and blended using turpentine to achieve a paint effect.

The Pebeo pastel and charcoal fixative can be used to fix the powdery pastel colour without changing the hue. It is better to fix the pastel colours to preserve the work from the weather and to avoid them from staining when touched because they never dry since they are composed of wax and oil.
