Pebeo Porcelaine 150 Paint Marker

Pebeo Porcelaine 150 Paint Marker

Quick Overview

Pebeo’s Porcelaine 150 markers are fine or bullet tip, smooth flowing, transparent, semi-transparent and opaque markers recommended for fine lines, strokes and writing on ceramic, porcelain, glass, and metal. Once dried and heat-set, the durable, high-gloss finish is permanent and dishwasher-safe. These markers are not recommended for use on surfaces that come in contact with food. These markers work like other spring-loaded, fiber-tip paint markers.

Porcelaine 150 markers are available in 9 colours with fine tip (0.7 mm) and 11 colours with bullet tip (1.2 mm). Use Porcelaine 150 Markers only in conjunction with Porcelaine 150 paints, and not with Vitrea 160 markers or paints. Porcelaine 150 and Vitrea 160 heat set at different temperatures and are not intermixable. Vitrea 160 sets / fixes to the surface at 160°C, while Porcelaine sets at 150°C.

For application, shake well and simply press down on the tip firmly, and hold until the paint begins to flow (pump gently to speed up the process). After use, replace the marker cap securely to prevent marker dryout. Allow to air dry 24 hours after application, then bake in oven for 35 minutes at 150°C (300°F) for dishwasher resistance. Air dry 72 hours for decorative use, with light washing and no soaking. Store flat. Keep from freezing.

After painting, Pebeo recommends placing your painted piece in a room-temperature oven and allowing it to warm up as the oven warms up because many vitreous and ceramic materials cannot withstand sudden changes in temperature. After the piece has been baked for 30 minutes at maximum temperature, turn the oven off and allow the piece to gradually cool to room temperature.

Avoid the use of strong, abrasive cleaners such as steel scouring pads and sharp cutting implements such as stainless steel knives, which may leave scratches on the surface and make it more difficult to clean.

Pebeo Porcelaine 150 Paint Markers contain no toxic ingredients, and conform to ASTM D-4236.
