NITRAM Demi Baton De Saule are Extra Soft (B+) Charcoal Sticks for dark notes & shading. The charcoal itself is dark & velvety smooth. The Demi Baton De Saule are approximately 25 mm Dia & are 15 cm long (0.98” Dia x 6” Long). These charcoal sticks can be sharpened to a very sharp point using the NITRAM Sharpening Bloc or Sandpaper. They are low dust as compared to vine & willow charcoal and are easy to erase / blend. NITRAM are experts in making rich, black charcoal for the discerning artist. These charcoals do not crumble or skip when used expressively or under pressure.
