The MABEF M/18 Convertible Studio Easel accepts both vertically and horizontally positioned canvasses. The artist can lock this easel in any position between vertical and horizontal, allowing for angle selection based on personal style. The sturdy base has four lockable casters and is fitted with a storage area below the canvas ledge for tools, brushes and paints. This artist’s easel is constructed of stain-resistant beech wood and finished with natural oils to enhance the beauty of the wood. The Easel is crafted in the finest tradition of Italian woodworking and is ideal for home or studio. The Easel features a ratchet controlled canvas tray and an independently moving top mast for secure, easy height adjustment of canvasses up to 225 cm or 88 ½” and 30 Kgs. The mast locks into position by tightening a screw at the rear. Simple assembly is required.
