Jacquard Paraffin Wax is a professional quality wax derived from petroleum. It is relatively brittle and will flake or crack when used alone for batik; therefore, batik artist usually mixes it with Beeswax or Sticky (Microcrystalline) wax to control the crackle, so it doesn't just flake off the fabric. It can also be used for cleaning brushes in encaustic. It comes in easy-to-measure pellets. Useful for candles, batik etc.

Use in a well-ventilated area. Melting point is 130° F or 52.8-57.2°C
