These inks are formulated for use in dip pens but also works well with brushes and airbrushes. They are ideal for design and illustration.

Dr. Ph. Martin’s Hydrus Fine Art Watercolor range offers 36 colours in dropper top glass bottles. Each of these colours deliver maximum the same brilliance and permanency as traditional tube watercolours. They are highly concentrated and last a long time. They can be blended and intermixed while still maintaining the transparency and luminosity of the colours. You can create lighter shades by just adding a bit of water. For opaque gouache effects, titanium white may be intermixed, this also gives pastel effects. When used straight from the bottle these colours are some of the most vivid available to water colourists. They deliver about 25 to 50% more brilliance than traditional tube watercolour paints.
