Conte a’ Paris Colour Carre Crayons are 6 mm x 6 mm x 63 mm pastel sticks. They consist of a range of 70 vibrant colours.
Carré Crayons give accurate and energetic strokes when the edges of the sticks are used. You can also colour areas by using the flat of the crayon to create the values. The greater the pressure while applying the colour, the denser the colour that is obtained.
The Carres are manufactured using artist pigments, clay (kaolin) and a binder (cellulose ether). The Carres are extruded, dried & baked to arrive at the finished product.
