Canson Figueras paper is a high quality, resistant paper which has been specially designed for oil painting. Canson Figueras featuring a high-performance barrier which absorbs bonding agents, water and oil evenly, while simultaneously guaranteeing superb resistance by the surface paint layer.
The paper is uncoated, with a natural texture similar to canvas.
It is also perfectly suitable for greasy pastel and acrylic, with substantial impasto effects. As an acid-free paper it offers excellent longevity and can be kept for long periods. Canson Figueras paper complies with ISO 9706 standard (Archival) and is without any optical brightness additives.
The paper is ready to use and lightweight, an ideal on-the-move paper in the wild (outdoors) and equally good paper for painting at home or in the studio. Canson Figueras painting paper offers excellent colour reproduction and a very natural painting feel.
