It is a well-constructed folding sketch easel, which is lightweight (only 1.6 Kgs) and folds up into a tight, compact portable unit. Artists use the basic field easel for sketching, watercolour and oil painting. The tripod easel has plenty of room for large scale work, supporting canvases up to a maximum height of 45 ¼" or 115 cm and 4 Kgs.
