Staedtler Mars Lumograph Pencils are high-quality break resistant premium drawing pencils for writing, drawing, sketching, and hatching as well as for professional graphic and artistic applications on paper and matt drawing film. The special lead and super-bonded lead formulation result a metallic lustre in a wide variety of grey tones for expressive sketches and drawings.
Mars Lumograph pencils erase easily and reproduce well with scanners and copiers. They are eco-friendly as well made in Germany from PEFC-certified cedar wood.
Design - Staedtler Mars Lumograph pencil comes in classic hexagonal shape and blue lacquer finish. It made from PEFC certified cedar wood, making it eco-friendly and have pleasant wood smell after its sharpened.
Lead Grades - Mars Lumograph pencils are available in 25 grades from soft 12B to Hard 10H suitable for drawing, sketching, and writing. It is recommended to use middle grades H, F, HB, or B for writing.
Sharpening, Erasability and Smearing - Staedtler Mars Lumograph pencil has a specially formulated, super-bonded lead that makes it remarkably break resistant and easy to sharpen cleanly. This pencil erases cleanly with minimal effort. The softer B grades do take a bit more effort to erase completely. Compared to other wooden pencils, the Lumograph has minimal smearing.
