J. Herbin Inks is the oldest and most popular pen inks among fountain pen users. It uses all-natural dyes in their fountain pen inks. They are mainly composed of water, humectant to limit drying at the level of the pen and preservative to preserve their qualities over time. This natural composition is reflected in the very neutral pH of the inks. Perform well even on copying paper, without feathering or bleed through that often occurs with fountain pens.

Herbin ink is pH neutral, non-toxic, lightfast and water based. Ink flows smoothly, fast drying and easy to clean out, making it ideal for beginners. The dyes used have been specially selected to offer the richest colour range on the market. Finally, these inks are finely filtered so as not to clog the pens.

The name chosen for each Herbin Fountain Pen Ink colour are very poetic to preserve the originality of the brand and as a French tradition. Perle Noire - The black ink was the first created by Herbin, with an exceptional quality. He gave it the name “Perle Noire” for its preciousness. Herbin’s "D" Bottled Fountain Pen ink collection includes 35 magnificent colour ranges available in 30 ML glass bottle with an integrated pen rest. They are known as "D" bottle pen inks. The "D" refers to the old French unit of measure "la Demi Courtine". Perfect for fountain pen users, calligraphers.

The Galeria Acrylics line consists of 60 magnificent colors in 60ml tubes and 500ml Jars making it ideal for art & design students, hobbyists, muralists, decorative painters and fine artists who work on a grand scale.

Although Galeria Acrylics are sometimes referred to as a fine grade acrylic, their high pigment levels deliver professional results with significantly better covering power than many similarly priced brands
