Herbin’s Authentic Ink is also known as Lawyers ink as it was originally used by French notaries to write official acts. This intense black ink darkens with time. This means that it is visible to write with and visible to read when dry and will withstand many paper textures. It contains Campeche wood tannin for exceptional preservation, so it retains its legibility for up to 300 years.
